I just wanted to thank you all for making my Alternative Education Setting experience so informative but also enjoyable. It was by far the best week of my course. The learning environment you have created is so warm and welcoming that the children almost immediately feel “at home”. I think the great advantage of you not been within a school building is that the children (who are very young still) are able to feel secure and learn through play and your teaching without the pressure of conforming to a school timetable. Whilst studying for my PGCE in Primary Education and working within KS1 and KS2 i had forgotten the enthusiasm and excitement with which young children approach learning and it is wonderful to see their enthusiasm reflected by you all. I wish you all the best for the future and may Priorslee Pre-School continue to provide such excellent care for the children in your area. I hope to see you in the future. (Jan 17)

My little boy started 2 weeks ago and i was very nervous as he has never been to a Pre-School before so i wasn’t sure how he’d settle, after a few days there were no more tears, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. My little boy has just started Pre-School and he loves it! He settled in really well and the staff have been lovely with him. He has only been there for two weeks but is already coming home with new skills and saying new things to surprise us! Its a smaller Pre-School and has a more homely and welcoming feel than the bigger nurseries with loads of children, and has a lovely calm environment. I was nervous to leave him at first as he had never spent so much time away from me before, but the staff were amazing and encouraged me to call and check how he is if i felt anxious at all.

Since putting my son in this Pre School six months ago he has come on in leaps and bounds. he is opening up more around other children and his social skills are massively improving. His key person Laura and the other staff have been exceptional with him, helping him to grow and giving him the one to one time he needs to help with his speech. We would like to express our experience with Priorslee Pre-school.
Our child really loves her nursery and she goes to it with a big smile. But this was not the case at the beginning. There where alot of tears and resistance.
As we are coming from another country, the biggest problem is language barrier. It was a hard time for all of us, especially for me as a mother and also for the wonderful teachers. Without their support and patience we wouldn’t succeed.
We would like to thank them, especially Mrs Laura Nesbitt, where her advice patience and persistance helped alot.
Our experince with Priorslee Pre-school is simply wonderful. Our daughter Teodora goes with a smile and happiness to nursery and also when she returns. She brings lots of nice impressions at home. Every day she learns new words. We hope it will continue at this.
